Overview:
Mo Muraski of Battletechnic Military Salvage builds 'Mechs from the scraps his team acquires. These "frankensteins", as he calls them, are rarely constructed but the demand assures constant sales whenever this particular 'Mech is sold.

Capabilities:
The following is an excerpt from one of Mo Muraski’s commercials. We claim no responsibility in any way either Battletechnic Salvage, this Mech, or Mo Muraski.

"Let us have a gander at this little beauty, built completely from scrap. I call it the Trooper (no relation to the Flea), suggesting its potential role as a grunt trooper, cheap and efficient. We start with a 55-ton chassis. This is a pretty exemplary model, taken from an old Wolverine. Note that the chassis of any of the three standard 55 ton Mechs (Shadow Hawk, Griffin, and Wolverine) can be used. Next put in a standard 275 engine (this one was a Griffin’s), giving us average speed. Now we pile on the armor, more than adequate even by today’s standards. The AC is one of those distinctive Whirlwind AC/5’s from the Wolverine. The lasers are a little newer, scavenged off Kurita Crabs in the Smoke Jaguar zone. The SRM is from a Rasalhagian Ostroc.
We have our jump capability and our armor. We have our long-range weapon, our medium range weapons, and our short-range weapon. What is wrong with this 'Mech? Nothing, as long as you watch your heat, something warriors of today don’t seem to understand. The new tech is breeding a sort of laziness that is resulting in war college graduates cooking themselves in an old Awesome (you know, no freezers) when they fire everything they have while on the run. That’s just stupid and wasteful. But I digress..."

Deployment:
Various Militias from various successor states have been grabbing this 'Mech as it becomes available. Due to its low cost and maintenance, Militia units find them to be a bargain especially as more money is shuffled to R&D projects, production of other 'Mechs, or more flashy units.
