Thoughts about the Wasp llC .
« on: June 23, 2012, 07:23:36 PM »

Hi I am wondering what a Wasp llC would be like similar to a Stinger llC or going a whole other direction.

the Wasp and Stinger traditionally had a paradigm that made them good partners.  the wasp was geared for hardened targets while the stinger was an anti infatry specialist.

if the Stinger IIC is packing Improved heavies and an AP Gauss, I would reccomend a Wasp IIC examine the use of an ATM 3 rack supplimented by either a Heavy laser array or Plasma Cannon.

or go the opposite way make the Wasp IIC the infantry specialist give it a quad array of AP Gauss backed by a single Heavy Medium

in the Clans the Stinger is the hard target specialist while the Wasp is the BA platform

of they could make the Wasp more akin to the Locust increasing its ground speed at the expense of the JJs but keeping a heavier weapons array

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

If possible, I'd personally shoot to get an ATM on there. I think the missile Wasps make a nice contrast to the pure laser Stingers and laser/MG (AP Gauss in this case) Locusts.
