This is how I randomized everything. I rolled a D6 for the first set and then another D6 for the second set. A third D6 Roll determined the first rank and second rank set. While I could have just used a D12, I like the extra rolls involved.

If we're not missing any ranks or factions, here are the first two sets.

1. RKA

2. FWLM

(Just for giggles, I rolled a D12 to see what would come up. First roll yielded a 1, the second an 11.)  :D

So it looks like we'll be implementing the RKA first and then the FWLM. I guess it's fitting seeing how either nation ceases to exist after the Jihad.  ;)

Cool, would it be possible to get an idea of how many posts will equate to which rank for each of the ranking systems?

Just a quick question do we know if the RAF's ranking structure is the same as the SLDF's?

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

That's a good question. There is definitely some difference between the various factions, from the "light" Clan system to the overtly top heavy Lyran rank system. So we should either, come up with an approximation for the "heaviest" rank structure and then just combine for the lighter versions, or work on a case by case for rank structures that differ from the norm - i.e. the SLDF.

What do you guys think?

I think we need to work them out case by case, also should we ditch the AMC (Mercs) as they're the same as the SLDF and put in the MHAF? As we missed the space romans off the list?

Sounds good to me. Nothing like a quick swap.

Voting Locked.

MHAF swapped for the AMC.

RKA will be first on the list.

Am I missing anything else?

Yeah, I mistakenly said the MHAF - which will be the September Ranks.
