Ranks vs Groups
« on: July 06, 2011, 10:20:56 AM »

Here's a quick question.

Would you guys like to see your Forum Ranks (which are based on post counts) or your Primary Membergroups (if any apply)?

Right now if you're assigned to a primary membergroup that color and images shows to the exclusion of all others. Example would be the Red Mech of KU players/developers, the Gold Mech of the Hexare Grenadier, etc. This can be changed, but the only option is to either use/show your forum post rank or primary group affiliation.

SMF is funny like that - without modifying the forum further - this is what we're stuck with.

WORD (of Blake) is good for two things. 1. Leaving inappropriate notes on other people's work. 2. Adding fake words (of Blake) to the dictionary.

If we can only have one I prefer the Primary Membergroup.

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.
