Texlos: Clear the Tunnels After Action Report

The Hexare Grenadiers are headed to the AFFS underground base in a volcanic mountain.  Step one is to clear the defenders from the pass leading to the entrance.  The second, was to clear the narrow tunnels leading to the AFFS underground base.  Fighting at bottlenecks, the AFFS defenders look to choke the Hexare Grenadier attack off before they could reach the base.  Check it out here: http://ourbattletech.com/2011/04/texlos-clear-the-tunnels-after-action-report/

This was an absolute brutal dogfight.  Had the AFFS's left flank had held a better chokepoint, I think we'd have been turned back or at least grinded down significantly more than we did.  Little bit a luck can go a long way.

I should have set up deeper in the tunnels, as well. I think the choke points would have been better and the lava would have done more.

My pattern of play really deteriorates as the day goes on and I get hungry and tired.  I made a few stupid decisions and didn't bother to communicate well enough at the end of the mission.

I definitely agree.  We tend to play a little more bold at the end of the day, when we're trying to take the field and finish off the battle.  I think we're all a little guilty of doing that kind of stuff towards the end of the games.
