Big problems at with the IP?

So it has been implied by a few people that used to work with a certain publisher that it is having severe problems and that "Be warned: the apocalypse to a certain line is coming." I have been trying to find more news on what might be happening, but I haven't been able to find out much more. Most of the people that used to work with them seem reluctant to say more. Does anyone have some news or even rumors with what is happening? I figured I would ask around here to see if anyone knows more.

We try to limit this sort of thing here.  If you have something definitive to share, by all means do so, otherwise, there are far more suitable places to rile up the fandom.

The only Apocalypse I know of is what went through Warhammer with the apotheosis in the Age of Sigmar and the new 8th Edition of Warhammer 40K
