Factional Soap Box

LYRANS 4EVA

Inspired by Knightmare's insistance that the Age of Chaos would see the LC stripped of factories and my own undying loyalty to the Steiner line.

When considering the historical application of industrial might to crushing your foes, its about high time TPTB recognised the fact that humanity will one day be united under the crushing weight of Lyran Industry.

Let the factional rants begin...

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Horse crap.

If the Lyrans ever managed to produce enough military equipment it is likely to - A.) Never reach appreciable levels and B.) Be used effectively.

In layman's terms those greedy merchant warriors are more likely to embezzle, steal or sell excess production to line their own inept pockets. Ha, I'd like to see a Lyran Quartermaster NOT try to sell some extra Atlases for some extra Kroner.

Besides, why would the Lyrans fight a war when they can just party and drink themselves stupid? Isn't that what being in the Lyran Officer Corps is all about?...

Or perhaps you toaster waving fanatics have the answer to it all.

However, your general answer to life the universe and everything - BURN THEM ALL - whilst quaintly nostalgic for the happy days of the Spanish Inquisition and all the warm, tender and homely delights that are entailed therein, is heart warming and all, I do believe the end of the Jihad spelled out humanities thoughts on that front - shove a lighted PPC up your proverbial.

I'll take hedonistic, self righteous, depraved debauchery over chants and self deprivation any day of the week.

Maybe...but I know if I sing a lullaby to my car in the morning at least it'll start up, and I won't have to worry about my neighbor selling it while I spend time worshiping my personal notecomp.

And Nukes do solve problems. Just ask any American.

Come and sing to my car, see how right Blake was then.

Besides, Lyrans can just buy more cars...

I'd like to see some fat Lyran party through that bonfire.

Quite balmy. Thanks for asking. I'm told that rebreathers and lead suits are all the rage this year in trendy Gibson/Circinus fashion circles.

Did someone say flame?

Somewhere in the continental US, say around Tampa - I just smiled.
