Yeah depressing that Ghana beat the US again but at least we I don't have to put up with the beehive sounds on the TV.

I don't have to put up with the beehive sounds on the TV.

But you can always watch the other games.  ::)

I'm not gonna fake an interest in soccer here. National pride was the only reason I was interested even a little bit in the event. Sorry.  :(

You are not the only one lacking interest in soccer but it is a popular sport and it is quite fun to watch (sometimes) and much more to play.  8)

I will keep this updated for all of you.
The 4 teams playing the semi-finals are Deutchland (won 4-0 against Argentina), Spain (1-0 against Paraguay), the Netherlands and Uruguay.

The semifinals ended with a spanish 1-0 victory against Germany (and a deserved one at that) on July 7th
and a dutch 3-2 victory against Uruguay on July 6th.

In a very entertaining third-place game Germany won against Uruguay 3-2 on July 10th while Spain won against the Netherlands 1-0 a.e.t. yesterday in a(sometimes at least) brutal game. All in all I think the spanish victory against the dutch was deserved, so "Felicidades Espana!".

Personally the german team did not disappoint me and i hope that with a bit of seasoning they will again do well (or even better) at the next EURO and the next World Cup. Therefore I hope that Bundestrainer Joachim Löw will renew his contract...

Ciao

I thought the Germans were going to win the whole thing especially after what they did to Argentina.

It is more accurate to say that I followed it. Listening to the aftermath is not the same as watching every moment. ;)

The probability it got it right was only 1/256.
My own guess was only on two matches (both won) but with the right score :P
