Quick grammar question
« on: March 04, 2011, 01:50:38 PM »

Say I'm talking about someone from St. August....  Are they a St. Augustan, a St. Augustinian, or something else completely?

St. Augustine, Florida?

Augustinian(s) is what I heard last time I was there for this year's Pirate festival.

WORD (of Blake) is good for two things. 1. Leaving inappropriate notes on other people's work. 2. Adding fake words (of Blake) to the dictionary.

I'm fluffing out my slowly forming Imperial Guard army for 40K and the world they were formed on is Saint August.

Just happened a few months ago...it's a great festival. Florida has quite a few if you're into Renaissance and Pirate Festivals. I built the Ft. Myers Pirate Festival website, (sadly, that festival ended a couple of years ago) but there's the Bay Area Renny Fest (Started last weekend!) and a big one in Deerfield Beach, FL. A lot of the performers I still keep in touch with maintain their permanent residence in the Bay Area.

Sadly all the Renfests up here don't start until June-ish.  I should make it to Bristol atleast once though :).  It is always a good day of getting away from life and unwinding.
