Apparently, since someone i nthe MWO pipeline somewhere pinched Mektek out of their mod, the people over at mekTek found a new stompy robot game to play with, and this one's legit.
http://www.heavygear.com/aboutIt's called heavy Gear Assault and they're crowdsourcing the game now, it's based on the Arenas of Heavy gear, and if it gets the funding, could turn into quite the delicious game of mecha combat. From the way it looks, if they make their Benchmarks, we could see an entire e-sport pop up on us, developed right into the game.
