Watching this game last night was insane. 19 innings of baseball. 6 hours of play. Going through all your pitchers. And then falling back to a position player...who started the game at 2nd base...and wins it for you, against arguably the best hitters on the team (and one of them a hitting MVP). That same inning saw the starting catcher at third base, a hit batsman, and then three straight fly outs from Valdez. Last time a position player won a game was 2000, last time a position player started a game at a position and then won as a pitcher? Babe freaking Ruth in 1921. I love my Phils, and I'm so glad I saw this.

Baseball? I played this once but I don't know why I am not that much attracted to it.

I honestly wasn't that into myself until a few years ago. My dad got me to finally sit down and watch it, and I finally started to get the pacing of the game. I've enjoyed the heck out of it ever since. I've never been much of a sports fan, and when I was, it was primarily hockey. But I definitely appreciate baseball now. And it's a great time to be a Phils fan.  8)
