All in all, it has been great to watch and should be brought in for the World Cup next year.

I will watch it and see how it impacts the game.

Also TPTB up there may be afraid of showing running rugby and having to come out of the dark ages, hence the black out on the S14????

I don't think so.
It is just that we have the national league, the European one and the 6 Nations, which for most people are more than enough.

Ireland-Wales : 27-12

Wales never managed to find a way to get through the Green defensive line.
The Irish managed the whole match and were far more efficient than the Welsh.
They were able to accelerate when it was needed and to score in a collective way while Wales' attacks were only dangerous through individual actions.

Scotland-England: 15-15

Just a question to sum it all: where is England?
Both teams were in a fighting spirit but were rather inefficient.

And to top it all off the NSW Waratahs managed a 72-10 hammering against the Lions from South Africa.  Nice way to celebrate Captain Phil Waughs record breaking 119th cap for his province.

Unless there is a big surprise today or next week, France is likely to win the tournament.
The only question left is will it be a Grand Chelem or not?

France-Italy: 46-20

Italy was  surprised by the French rhythm and the pressure they put on the Squadra Azzura.
Their defence was overwhelmed several times and the score reflects this punishment.

France are doing a very quite build for next year in NZ.  As the World Cup Host Nations bogey team, they may be well placed to win thier 1st WC.  Still, they have to get past the Wallabies first: as it is somewhere in our constitution that we must defeat NZ at all major sporting events they hold.

Ireland will be a chance, SA look to be on a downward that is just beginning, the Wallabies will have some depth for once, NZ will hopefully choke at home with Wales and Argentina there for upset valuse.

Well just got in from a very wet Brickfields where Albion lost 9-10 to the Bedford Blues in there first promotion playoff pool match. Now too dry off and see if England can put up any kind fight against France tonight.

They are looking good for next year's world cup.

On a personal note, try to avoid playing rugby in 32 degree heat and 110% humidity.  That was a hard day at the office, even if it was a trial.  I think I'll be dehydrahted for a week...

Yikes, I hope your talking degrees farenheit not centigrade. That is near if not over 100 degrees here in the states.

No, I'm certain its centigrade. 32C is 90 degrees F. It gets that hot sometimes here in Connecticut with 90-100% humidity. Not a good time to be outside, let alone playing rugby. :o
