England - Italy : 47-17
Ireland - France : 18-11
Scotland - Wales : 23-26

I didn't see England play but they seem to be the team to watch this year.
For the two others, the key was discipline, discipline and discipline.

England started poorly but came into the game after a lengthy stoppage for an injury, I think the overall winner is likely to be the winner of the Ireland - England game.

Exactly my thought. Unless we have a surprise from Wales-Ireland and France-England that could relaunch everything.

Well in today's six nations Scotland managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against Italy and Wales beat France in a close encounter in Paris.

Scotland-Italy: 19-22
The difference might seem not high but Italy pushed, pushed and pushed again with 3 tries scored and they came back from a 10-0.

France-Wales: 13-20
The reason why France lost? Discipline and efficiency in the hand game.
There were a few hints that the French flair is still there but it always ended up with an efficiency problem.

Today is England-Ireland.

I think which ever team wins the scrum and forward game today wins both the match and probably the six nations.

Ireland-England: 19-9

In spite of the last 20 minutes when England tried to do something but didn't manage to break the Irish defence (and it might have something to do with Sexton having to leave the game), the overall game was clearly Irish and England didn't manage to find the way to disturb the Irish machine.

Wales out played Ireland, England struggled but got past Scotland and France did the expected and beat Italy, so going into the last weekend England, Ireland, Wales and France can all mathematically take the title, with England current favourites as they have the best points difference.

This is what I saw.
England-France to decide who the winner is...  8) but only if the French team plays.

For the sake of the game, I do hope they turn up.

What a last day.
With 221 points scored in 3 games, I thought it wasn't rugby but handball or something like that.

Italy-Wales: 20-61
After a really good first half of the Italian team (13-14 with Wales scoring at the last second), the Welsh decided it was time to do something and overwhelmed Italy.
The goal was set for the two other teams, they had to win but with enough points to make a difference.

Scotland-Ireland: 10-40
10-20 at the end of the first half. The Irish did everything they could to win both in offence and in defence in the second half and challenged the English team that had to win with an advantage of 26 points.

England-France: 55-35
I never saw that, what a match. England could have won the tournament but the French stopped them at the last second nearly on the line.
Both teams scored so many tries. France was a little less efficient on kicking, which might explain a part of the score. However England was really, really great.

Only managed to see the England game, we should have managed to gain enough points but all the same still a cracking performance.

Come on, the French team tried to win the game too.
