So it started.

France-Ireland: 17-38

France was dominated in all fields (including physical impact) and it didn't help that a French player received two yellow cards (meaning a red one) for the same kind of fault beginning at the half hour (although Ireland was already dominating).
Yellow card means leaving the field for 10 minutes and letting your team play with one player less.

10-17 at the half-time and Ireland just gave a recital of its rugby. It seems the Irish team was only behind its usual level in the fly-half sector with the new generation needing to grow up after the retirement of Johnny Sexton (I checked and the 3 fly-halfs in the team have really few caps whereas most Irish players are really experimented).

However let's not forget that France is missing its captain Antoine Dupont, who is focusing on the Olympic Games and the 7 players rugby.

Italy 24 - 27 England

England came from behind to scrape a win in Rome, England were not impressive in this game and if they continue to play like this will probably finish 4th.

Still could be worse.

Wales - Scotland: 26-27
A really two-sided game.
The first half-time was only for Scotland with 20 points to 0 and they scored a try after the pause.

Suddenly, the Welsh came back in the back and ended at 1 point with 5 tries scored and only 1 point from Scotland, meaning they scored 2 points.

Sounds like Ireland is going to be tough to beat this time around.

I think so. However Scotland is likely to have a real strong revenge feeling after the World Cup and they always do good (we will have to wait for next game against France to be sure).

Scotland - France 16-20
Although Scotland seemed a bit better than France, they never managed to make a break, including when they had the numerical superiority.
There was also a referee decision regarding a try by Scotland at the last second, which was overruled. However, as

England - Wales 16-14
Another messy game but with some flashes, like when the English playing only with 13 players managed to score a try and keep on defending without breaking.
The game came down to that, who was the most discplined? Wales was for the first half-time but then England never broke and kept their head cool.

Having seen the video Scotland were robbed against France the ball was grounded.
