Must be a bit gauling that they needed an english coach to turn them around.

This is rugby, the most international sport, where you can see an Italian player named McLean  ::)

Yep. My former coach got asked to help develop the code over there and is doing an excellent job of it.

Chris Ashton - YOU ARE A TOOL!

The coach sits the entire team through a session on ball security and not celebrating until the ball is down, with the message being NO SWAN DIVING.  So what does this 5* show pony go and do - Swan Dives...TWICE!

A note for Captain LOOK AT ME, you can start swan diving your heart out AFTER you put on 4 tries against New Zealand, Australia or South Africa, not the Italians, who despite the ever growing strength and propserous looking future, are not world heavy weights.

Additionally, when the coach says do, you do. You're not bigger than the team idiot.

England - Italy: 59-13

I don't think there is much to say.
England literally crushed Italy with 8 tries.

Scotland - Wales:  6-24

Scotland was never in the game and their style could be qualified of valiant but messy.
For example, Scotland didn't manage to use their numerical advantage when 2 Welsh players received a yellow card but they are several other examples.

He still did it today though.

Ireland - France : 22-25
What can I say?
France didn't show any real good game (apart during the defensive phases and when they scored their only try) and won thanks to the many Irish faults.
Ireland was inefficient and undisciplined when attacking, which means that in spite of scoring 3 tries versus 1 for France, they lost the game.

So I was watching some of the six nations business this weekend...I can see the appeal, but it's difficult to find like minded individuals where I live. Cripes, it's hard enough finding fellow footballers to watch a match with. (Thankfully, I found a proper watering hole rife with Reds - but that was a lucky break indeed.) Sad...

What channel did you watch the rugby matches? I've never seen a game and I can't find it televised. :( Once a while I can find a Premier League game on ESPN and once in a great while I can find an Australian Rules game on the same channel, usually during the wee hours of the morning.

Australian Rules - now there's a game...c'mon St.Kilda - you want blood, broken teeth and acrobatics, non-stop, and the doctors have to come on and remove the players 'cos they're interfering with the game...or at least that happened in the last game I watched at the MCG... 8)

Even though I'm still learning the game, Australian Rules football is great fun to watch! And I'm a big American Football (NFL) fan.
