Here in Germany BV Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga title today with two games to spare. It will be interesting to see how this young team fares in next season's Champion's League, provided that non of them will be transferred.

Hopefully FC Bayern will reach third place and the qualifying round for the Champions League.

And the Talk proved to be correct. Sahin will join Real Madrid next Season, for a transfer fee of only 10 million €.(Compared to many other Real Madrid transfers in recent years ths is a quite modest transfer fee ::))
Given that Sahin is a quite a versatile player it will be interesting to see where he will find his place in the Real Madrid eleven.

Commentators in Spain reckon that he will play in Midfield alongside Xabi Alonso. There's also speculation that Altintop will be joining him at Real Madrid.

The UK press reckon that Man City have tabled an offer for Xavi from Barcelona - don't know the fee but they're talking like he'll get a wage of 10 Million £'s a year in salary and it's a five year deal :o

...and the season finishes with Barcelona whupping ManU 3-1. Hate to say it, but it was simply no contest and could have been two or three more.

Now we'll just have to wait for the pre-season games to get our fix - no World Cup this summer.

I'm sure there must be some league to watch.... ;)

It was a quality Champions League final, Barca fully deserved there win.

Liverpool finished 6th  :( but given the start to the season can't complain.

Plymouth Argyle were relegated to league 2 and are still in administration but it sounds like a new owner will come in this month.

St. Mirren finished 11th in the SPL (again) which is about where they can be expected to finish give there budget.

CD Tenerefe have now been relegated to the Spanish 3rd Division  :'(

De Gea to ManU - Good call as usual from Sir Alex
Chelsea have a new manager who is Jose Mourinho MkII
Ashley Young to ManU - see above
Neymar to Real Madrid - might be good...

and Fabregas to...someone, who just might be Arsenal ;D

Hmmm.... Talk over here is that this year Fabregas might actually get his dream fulfilled by returning to Barca as the Catalans have allegedly upped their offer for Fabregas....

Oh and what is the talk in England regarding Jerome Boateng transferred to FC Bayern? Hopefully ManCity will renege on their hefty transfer fee demands.

On the Fabregas thing, Galliani from AC Milan has said that they're out of the running and he'll be going to a different club. The rumour is that Barca have made a big offer, just not the offer Arsenal were looking for...yet.

Man City seem to be getting rid of players ready for new buying. Every new rumour for a player at least has them linked. I would think that the closer it gets to season start they'll have to reduce demands, or they'll end up with an enormous and well over budget squad.

It does sound like Fabrigass and Boatang will be leaving Arsenal & Man City but both clubs are holding out for the best deals they can get by the look of it.
