So... lots of talk during pre-season and nadda once the games start??

Its been quite entertaining in the English (Barclays) Premier League so far... though things are getting rather interesting in the Spanish League. If you thought it strange that the money purses of Man City are actually seeming to finally buy them success, who would bet that Real Betis is the only team in the La Liga that has a 100% win record after 4 games?

I would love to see Liverpool surge up the tables with Steven Gerrard finally back after being out for bloody 6 months. And may he never gets injured again... what? I'm a optimist.

...and an update on the Spanish League is that Betis won the first four games and have lost everyone since (six more). Levante were going strong and held the top of the league until this week when they were beaten for the first time. Their total wages bill adds up to the equivalent of a couple of month's of Ronaldo's or Messi's.

Oh, and you are an optimist aren't you? ;D

Cheers

How are Barça and Real doing?

Madrid first and Barca second...

Though from what I read(and sometimes see) over here Barca is more exciting to watch.

Furthermore in Germany Bayern Munich are quite entertaining this year too. Even in the Champions League. The first half of yesterday's game against Napoli was superb. The second half was not as good, partly due to Schweinsteiger's injury.

Ugh. After the Swansea match it's like watching last season's fumbles all over again. I know it's only early November, but the home field draws and draws against new League opponents just makes me sick.

Plus, we're hearing rumors about an Agger trade. Say it isn't so.

At any rate, with Chelsea and Man City forthcoming things don't look good for the Reds' standings.

Say it aint so. I mean, I know he's 31-ish, but so what. He's a legendary midfielder. Kryponite couldn't stop him.

It's sad, because with the current crop of players sans-Carroll, if Stevie were around more I'd expect more victories. He's a general at the 18+. Still, it's only November. Finger's crossed.

Well, I too hope that Gerrard continues his career. Even over here he has an enormous reputation. Especially since he turned down an insane offer from (IIRC) Chelsea some years ago.

Well, since no one said it. The Reds whipped Chelsea.

Now that the draw for the EURO 2012 final tournament has commenced: what do my fellow football fans think of this draw?

At least the DFB-Elf was not drawn into the Spanish group.
