Well, well, well...would you believe it? Newcastle into the quarter finals of the Uefa cup 8)

We're also nine points off relegation ;D

All we need to do is beat Wigan on Sunday and then Sunderland in a couple of weeks and my season will be complete ;)

Cheers

5th time for you as well so you keep the trophy this time and UEFA have to make a new one, just like they did 8 years ago when Liverpool did it.

This is (sadly) no longer true. According to yesterdays tv coverage and the German Wikipedia since 2009 the Original cup stays permanently with UEFA and the winner receives a copy of the same size as the original immediately after the final. After three consecutive victories or five non-consecutive victories a "special recognition" is going to be awarded by UEFA.

But what really matters to me is that finally Bayern won the Champions League again!

Everybody ready for the weekend?

What will the season bring? Who will be the Champions, Top 4 predictions, who's going down?

Would love to hear everyone's thoughts. Here are mine:

Champions: A Manchester Club  ;D ;D ;D ;D (Probably United if they get RVP  >:( >:( >:( >:( )

Top 4: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea  (Newcastle Top 6 :D :D :D)

Going down: West Ham, West Brom and QPR (Yeah I know that Wigan are always there or there abouts, but they just signed Koné and he was awesome for Levante last season. If Wigan can score some goals, they'll stay up  ;) )

Top Scorer: Sergio Aguero (Rooney and RVP will have to share the goals  :D :D :D)

Right, let me know what you think.

Cheers

So how did we all do?

Winners and Top 4 right but order slightly skewed.

QPR down, as well as reading and no-one went for Wigan :o

Oh and Newcastle managed to stay in the Premier League with one game to go  :-[

Now we have Mourinho back, SAF retired and Mancini fired.  8) Looking good for the new season ;)

Cheers

What a Charlie Foxtrot at Newcastle yet again :-[

MD out, Joe Kinnear as Director of Football in and the guy can't even remember the senior players names :o

He tells the fans he's far more intelligent than they are and that he has won everything under the sun! I think he must be smoking.... ???

Apparently he has everyone's phone number and the best contacts in the world...people still have to pick up though :(

Guess that we will be in the relegation zone from Day 1 - our first game is against Man City at the Etihad :'(

Need a beer or six.........

Cheers
