Change to the above post, scratch the rugby she managed to get 2 Argyle tickets from a friend of hers so we're off to watch the local derby against the gulls (Torquay United) on the 2nd  ;D

Good wins for city and the scum tonight, 0-0 draw for the reds  >:(

...and Newcastle at last get another win. 15 goals for Demba Ba, second highest scorer in the Premier and a FREE transfer. Liverpool can keep Andy Carrol - money well earned I say :P

Well...Let's see if it stays that way... Hoffenheim(his previous Club here in Germany) were not unhappy to let him leave in January 2011...

The only saving grace is Torres has been even worse for Chelsea, he's scored more goals for 'pool this year and he left in january!

...and Jose Enrique?? ;)

Liverpool seem to be interested in Checq Tiote as well. Ashley may be a tool as an owner, but he knows how to make money :o

We might have lost, but Andy Carrol still can't score...well, probably downtown on a Saturday night after a few pints he's your man, but in front of goal? Best 35Million pounds ever made by the Toon, I think. ;D

Sorry ;)

Cheers and a Happy New Year

Regarding Transfers.....
Borussia Dortmund announced they have signed Marco Reus from Borussia Mönchengladbach for a set fee of €17.5 million.
He will join Dortmund in the summer of 2012.
Thus they beat the likes of Real Madrid and FC Bayern.

Dortmund are certainly becoming a magnet for talented young players.

And Newcastle United have signed striker Papiss Demba Cissé from Bundesliga side SC Freiburg for an alleged fee of 12 million €.
In my view a really good transfer, as the player is a proven goalgetter.

If he only scores half of the goals that Demba Ba has, then it will be a good buy. We just need Senegal to be knocked out of the African Nations Cup as quickly as possible ;D

He gets to be available for selection tomorrow against Aston Villa. Looking forward to see what he can do.

Does he? I thought he couldn't play until Monday?

On another note it was good to see Andy Carrol showing something close to form at last.

The story is that he'll probably play a part tomorrow, maybe not 90 minutes.

Yeah, at last AC is showing something ;D

Well, he certainly played a part. He got Man Of The Match, scored a cracking goal and we won 2-1. What more can you ask for?
