I just found out that Arrakis is located in the Canopus star system.
It is the 3rd planet in this system (and Canopus IV is the 4th).

We must totally destroy all spice production on Arrakis. The Guild and the entire Universe depends on spice. He who can destroy a thing, controls a thing.

I'll have to check in on the fluff of Shadowrun, I always liked the unique world. From nations to megacorps it was all interesting.
