USB "Improvement"
« on: March 30, 2014, 04:26:18 PM »

This is just depressing: http://www.popsci.com/article/gadgets/next-generation-usb-connector-will-plug-either-way. The only plus side is that the manufacturers will make boatloads of money selling adapters for old USBs.

It's about bloody time. USB 3, firewire, etc. they all use odd-angled connectors. A universal USB would be fantastic. Don't worry about the cost of an adapter, they'll be cheap.

Trust me, this is a good thing.

I dunno, I'm still skeptical, and plus, I've heard people talk about them being more fragile this time around. Time will tell...

hell I would be all in favor of adopting Apples Thunderbolt Connector if it could handle the bus load for anything beyond iDevices.

BattleTech products aren't Pokemon Cards. You don't have to catch, or collect them all.

WHAT NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THAT!
