Free Worlds League declares it has joined the new Federated Commonwealth and attacks the Capellan Confederation. Sain falls to FedCom troops; Maximilian and Romano Liao, Michael Hasek-Davion are killed. Massive revolts in Skye and throughout the Free Worlds League. St. Ives Compact and the Tikonov Free Republic are formed by Candace Liao and Pavel Ridzik, Michael Hasek-Davion killed, Federated Suns interdicted by ComStar.

Federation of Skye, Duchy of Andurien, Principality of Regulus, and Duchy of Oriente all declare their independence from the Federated Commonwealth. Capellan Confederation completely falls apart and is totally destroyed. Star League facility is discovered on Rigel Kent by Skye troops.

Star League facility is rumored to be found by Draconis partisan forces on Vega. Draconis Combine and Federated Commonwealth sign an armistice ending the 4th Succession War. Katrina Steiner dies on Tharkad when she accidentally fell down a flight of steps. Rim Collection is formed. Theodore Kurita becomes Coordinator; Takashi’s fate is unknown accept for the fact that he retired and left the InnerSphere. At the suggestion of the Prince of the Federated Suns and because it was one of Hanse’s last wishes, Chancellor Pavel Ridzik, has granted the Wolf Dragoons free and clear title to the planet Outreach and it’s surrounding solar system.

Death Commandos attack New Avalon and manage to kill Hanse Davion before being totally destroyed. Janos Marik suffers a heart attack and then is killed in a massive explosion in the Government House. Melissa Steiner and her new son Victor are reported missing near Terra. FedCom Civil War begins. Thomas Marik assumes control of the Free Worlds League and arrests Duncan Marik for the murder of Janos. Duncan is executed 2 months later. John Steiner (Katrina’s second child and Melissa’s brother) assumes control of the Lyran Commonwealth. By agreement between Thomas Marik and John Steiner the Federated Commonwealth ceases to exist. Morgan Hasek-Davion assumes control of the Federated Suns until Melissa Steiner or Thomas Davion (Hanse’s very younger brother) can return. Thomas is participating in the 15th Battle of Hesperus. Free Rasalhague Republic is formed and Ronin War begins. Free Star Republic is formed by Duchy of Andurien and Magistracy of Canopus they invade fromer Capellan territory. Capellan Confederation is reformed by Tormano Liao. Principality of Regulus and Duchy of Oriente rejoin the Free Worlds League.

Thomas Davion returns to New Avalon and becomes the new Prince of the Federated Suns. Federated Suns returns FWL world. Victor is rescued by the Rim Collection’s new Ambassador. Melissa Steiner is founded to be dead apparently by Federation of Skye troops. Civil war in the Capellan Confederation Tormano Liao is killed by Linda Aris and Clinton’s Cutthoarts. They form a new realm the Capellan Hegemony with Linda as it’s new Chancellor. Skye invasion takes place; Free Worlds League attacks Alula Autralia, Federated Suns, Lyran Commonwealth, and Rim Collection attack every Skye world. Rim Collection returns Lyran worlds captured during the FedCom Civil War and with the fall of Skye that conflict finally ends. Meeting after, John wants Victor to be raised in both capitals he thinks this is how Hanse and Melissa would have wanted it to be. Ronin War ends.

- Clans invade the InnerSphere
- 2nd ComStar Schism takes place on Earth. The relatively new (took office in 3048) Precentor of New Avalon Robert Petrovka directly challenged Primus Waterly in a meeting of the First Circuit on April. Calling her plan shortsighted and foolhardy he demanded that ComStar not help the Clans. A shouting match soon began in the First Circuit and Waterly infuriated order the several Precentors arrested by ROM. Pretrovka however, being a former member of ROM, convinced the guards to remain in their positions. The First Circuit than held an improptuid vote on Primus Waterly saying she should step down. Waterly left the First Circuit compound and began marshaling her forces to quell the rebellious First Circuit. The First Circuit had confirmed Pretrovka as the new Primus of the Order. Fighting soon began between the two factions most of it taking place on Earth. Events conspired against Waterly as more support for the First Circuit came after the bombing of Edo on Turtle Bay. Waterly and her forces were finally defeated on December 26 3050. Primus Pretrovka also communicates with Focht and informs him of his decision to continuing administer Clan held worlds.

- Strange ruins are uncovered on Islamabad by construction crews.

- Two break-in attempts at New Avalon Institute of Science on the same night. One person captured alive, 7 others killed but at least 2 got away with highly classified material about new BattleMech designs. (Make a series of 4 intelligence rolls starting at 5 or better to uncover stuff in the investigation). Ceres Metals is behind the whole thing.
- New pirate group appears behind the Draconis Combine; Labette’s Corsairs about 2 regiments of ‘Mechs 3025 technology.
- Emerson’s Sabres (a pirate group) begin raiding worlds in the Boondock Administrative Area. Destroying buildings and doing minor damage to other facilities they are always one step ahead of your forces. A short investigation will discover Sub-Minister of the Boondock Administrative Area Curt Wilson is passing vital defense information to the Sabres. Wilson then scims an money sent by the government to rebuild the areas.

- The druken Ambassador from the Draconis Combine tries to kill the Archon of the Lyran Commowealth. Malcolm, his son is injured in the attack.
- The Auburn Marauders begin raiding worlds of the Federated Suns.

- Draconis Combine (ITT) produce Clan type Extended Range Lasers, all types successfully.
- The planet of Viborg (Lyran) discovers large amounts of germanium.
- Thomas Marik is killed by Isis Marik. Isis then appears before the Parliament and explains the man she killed was an impostor. She also has proof to back up her claim which is true that Thomas was an impostor. Isis then claims the Captain-Generalcy which touches off a civil war in the Free Worlds League. Parliament deadlocks and splits into two factions one supporting Joshua and the other supporting Isis. Isis is backed by her husband’s nation the Marian Hegemony, most of the FWL Navy, SAFE, Principality of Regulus, and several large mercenary units chief amongst them is Brion’s Legion. Joshua who had to return from New Avalon musters support from most of the FWL military hierarchy, the Federated Commonwealth, Oriente, and Andurien. Isis forces have been on the offensive since the war broke out because of Joshua’s inability to coordinate effectively with his forces.

Defeated Clan Nova Cat on Irece and retained possession of the LAM factory.
During the Battle of Tukayyid Northwind Highlanders attack and retake Avon.
Bigger win on Luthien, do to the presence of Eridani Light Horse who captured several of the Clan supply depots. And MAC (1st Regiment) which halted Nova Cats drive on the Imperial City (Clan’s didn’t even reach the place).

- Second Clan Invasion begins. Nova Cat and Steel Vipers begin the year pushing outward of the COZ. On June 1 all Clans except Diamond Shark renew their drive towards Terra.
- Lyran and Draconian units clash on Port Moresby in the face of a Clan Wolf attack. The Archon now calls for an end to the alliance between the FedCom and Draconis Combine.
- New AFFC unit formed; Messengers of Shiva a combined Aerospace and BattleMech regiment.
- Planet of Great Gorge is discovered to be rich in platnium.
- Thomas Davion dies
- Free Worlds League - is in a state of chaos while two rival factions are competing for control. Joshua’s forces win the battle of Marik and the momentum starts to swing in his favor.
- Operation Revival (Waves 6, 7, & Cool the ilKhan calls a halt to the invasion for 6 months to resupply all Clans. New tactics recognized intailly the Clans bypassed the Free Rasalhague Republic during the 6th wave. Also they seem to be calling forward naval assets and using them not only in space but to destroy ground troops by carefully limiting orbital bombardment. Steel Vipers, Jade Falcons, and their allies proceed to drive FedCom troops off their worlds. Wolf and Ghost Bear attacked in mass the remenants of the FRR destroying large numbers of ComGuards. Nova Cats using PGC units to attack as well as other auxilary units provided the greatest opponent during this wave of attacks.
