Title: House of L
Post by: Deadborder on April 24, 2011, 09:51:13 AM
Locked away in a dark corner of the darkest place on Highspire, Kali Liao babbles away to herself. Three simple words escape her lips.

"No more Davions."

The universe goes white...

The Third Whitting Conference, 3067. The leaders of the four great houses, the Free Worlds Leauge, the Lyan Commonwealth, the Draconis Combine and the Capelan Confederation, are en-route to Tharkad to elect a new first lord of the Star Leauge.

-----

The Premise:

The house of Davion, and by extention, the Federated Suns, never existed. Instead, there is a vast ocean of green, a successor state of unmatched power, the mighty Cappellan Confederation. What we know as FedSuns space is divided; Most of the Cappelan and Crucius marches ara part of the CapCon, while the Draconis march is manly Draccie. The Taurians have the Peladies, while much of the "Outback" is a colelction of small states such as the Margallota Collective and the Fitvlet Coalition, or independant worlds and micro-states.

And despite this radical change, history is in many ways eerily similar and recongisable. Events unfold differently, but people seem to remain the same despite that. While House Davion has never existed, there are still plenty of familar faces - though one is rather conspicious by their absense.

But for all this, there is one person who knows that this is all wrong.

Wouldn't House Kurita be too big to fail?

Nice inspiration. Much like the Scarlet Witch, it's a great way to use an underutilized character from BT.
