Project LEGION: Forgotten Treasures
« on: January 23, 2021, 03:45:39 PM »

I just want to introduce myself.  I have been posting on the bg.battletech.com forums for probably the last decade or longer.  Through all of the ups and downs and the different owners of the material.  I write a FanFic based on survivors of the Terran Hegemony following the Amaris Coup and subsequent Star League "Civil War."  I am posting all of my current run of stories from the prequal to the live story line in development.

Attached will be:

Into the Shadows (Prequal)

From Shadow to Light (Book 1)

Shadows of the Dead (Book 2)

Operation Restore Hope (Capellan St. Ives War)

Terran Hegemony Armed Forces (Field Manuel)

Terran Hegemony Armed Forces Update 3066 (Field Manuel)

Hegemony Combat Power (Tech background and origins)

Map of Hegemony-in-Exile 2767

Map of Hegemony-in-Exile 3025

Map of Hegemony-in-Exile 3058

Map of Inner Sphere 3058

I hope that you all like reading these as much as I did making them.  I am currently writing book 3 and hope that you all can give me some feed back on how best to development this storyline.  I plan to start over once I am done with the 3rd book and change some stuff up.  Mainly going back to my Dark Storm Legion time lines and writing about the Mercenary Unit I developed a long time ago.

Enjoy

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Yeah bud, this is the same stuff I posted ok CBT.  We used to exchange ideas a few years back.  Marauder and I cross talk a lot now.  I have continued to be a fan of your work.

RL Work has gotten in the way a lot for me recently as I teach at probably the best Army School ever.

Any Input so far?  When I'm done with the third episode I am going back to write some more from the past I think.

Where are these worlds? Because you are at the same time too active with too many forces and playing in the different power games and too inactive to let the Successor States or ComStar not looking for you.

How come they didn't follow General Kerensky in Exodus?

First of all I am adding two images that I converted to a usable format I hope.  This shows the exiled hegemony circa 2821 and 3058.  ComStar couldn't find them because they were never included in the HPG network or were removed from it.  Com Star has a lot of back doors into their systems thanks to the Hegemony controlling the Star League Intelligence organizations following the Exodus.  Read "Into the Shadow's" for a prequal to the storyline.

They did not leave with Kerensky because these people were not part of the Star League Defense Forces and like a lot of the Hegemony Militia's remained behind if they survived.  They did not reveal themselves to Richard Cameron following Simon's death due to the influence of Stephan Amaris.  They waited and when the war kicked off they supported Kerensky.

As the stories move on you see the Hegemony-in-Exile isn't as strong as they appear.  Technology is quickly matched or exceeded, the Word of Blake will succeed in devastated the Armed Forces and bringing them down to manageable size and they will have to fall back from Terra and much of the Sarna March.
