Here is how I would divide up the world; it is a little more consolidated, but you still have lots of borders for conflict.  The Taurian Concordat is in brown and the Magistracy of Canopus is in pink (hey, I ran out of colors, but it fits!).

I'm always surprised how often North America gets associated with the Davions. The Davion culture really doesn't fit near as well as the Free Worlds League. We are fantastically awesome at arguing with ourselves.

Well, the Davions were Anglo-french, and North America was originally colonised by English and French.  So, considering what serves as the Terran Hegemony has fallen, I had the Davies rush in from Canada to scoop up New England and the Midwest--they also pushed out west securing the West Coast.  The Kurita took Hawaii and Alaska, as well as Chile down in South Am.  And I gave the Southwest, Texas-Oklahoma-Arkansas-Louisiana, Mexico, and Central America to the Calderons (go play with the Bull).  But, I took away the traditional English overseas colonies in Africa (except for the south) and India (all of which went to Liao).   Seemed a fair trade.

Logical.
