Title: Destroyed planets
Post by: Ice Hellion on June 20, 2010, 03:46:33 AM
I am looking for a Periphery planet that might have destroyed or its population killed during the Coup.
Or if there is none an Inner Sphere one would work too.

Any idea?

Off hand I would say there were none in the TC, MOC or OWA- just looking at the maps in the various SBs as well as General Kerensky's handling of the campaign(trying to recapture rebelling worlds with minimal damage)  it seems very unlikely.

You may be able to pick a random RWR world- maybe an SLDF unit got over zealous.  The only IS world I can think of that may qualify is New Dallas (from TR3075 fame) but I am not sure if they were wiped out during the Coup or the very early years of the SWs.

I will check TRO 3075 then.

I'll take a look Ice but New Dallas survived the Coup to be destroyed later on in the Succession Wars.

Both New Dallas and Rocky were killed during in the early stages of the 1st SW. Funnily enough in almost the same fashion.  :D

I can't think of any RWR worlds that "officially" bit the dust during the Coup or immediately afterwards, but given the number of "secret" worlds the RWR possessed just before the Coup...you know, those not on the map. You could always invent one up.

That's always the easiest way to do things.
