All I'd like to see happen on the 11th, long before the tributes or the watchfulness or anything else...get the freaking funds fixed so that we are paying for the first responders with cancer. You know...the folks who stood for days and weeks in a carcinogen filled environment pulling out your loved ones (and their remains)? And now we say "We'll pay for everything, except cancer. We can't tell if you got cancer from this event." WHO CARES?

I'd kill to see any of the news agencies talk about that all day long, without trying to spin it for ratings or political orientation, rather than rehashing the same images for 24 hours and turning a tragedy into a political talking point.

I agree with you Dread, although the likelihood of that happening is virtually nil. :(
