  • Unofficial, sure. But better than nothing, right?
Sorry!
« on: April 10, 2022, 07:53:14 AM »

Hello again, guys.

I'm sorry for just dropping out without warning well over a month ago now, but I really couldn't help it. I've suffered from depression for over 20 years now, usually at only a low level. When the Ukraine conflict kicked off, the feeling of helpless rage I felt because I couldn't kill Putin with a chainsaw and stop him murdering any more helpless civilians has, basically, caused me to regress into an apathetic gloom. I'ts taken me this long just to muster the resolve to type and post this, but I have no way of knowing in advance how long it'll take me to get back to what passes for normal with me and stsrt participating again.

Till then, take care of yourselves, everyone.

Very sorry to hear this Hominid. It is very difficult in this world to accept the ugliness that is but know that this darkness will one day pass. I believe that I am here to play a part, however small, in bringing a new dawn that all can enjoy and you should too. There is a time for all things and let's face it if life was without challenges it would be pretty boring. Although, I do like boring I enjoy overcoming such exciting times. Hope to see you around soon. Be well and take care!

Small goals, small payoffs, satisfied life.

Remind yourself of your limits, set realistic goals, and examine the effort you already expended.  Most of my life is setting too high a series of goals, but not allowing a reasonable amount of time to accomplish them.

Feel your pain, its worse during the winter months for me with S.A.D.

Can give you all the advice in the world but remember to enjoy the small things and try and stay away from the news. I gave up on TV a few years back because all it was was bad shit thrown in your face 24/7.

And just remember just because today might be a bad day doesn't mean tomorrow can't be better.
