I am just passing the question:

I'm working up a 3067 planetary unit for the largely ignored Chainlaine Isles (meaning 3025 tech), but I need information on what vehicles were common in the Rim Worlds Republic just before the Amaris Coup. Supposedly the Republic used a lot of tanks since they hadn't the means to produce a lot of mechs, but aside from the Ignus IFV (not really a tank) I don't know what other tanks would have been common that side of the sphere at the time. They might have had older variants of the Hegemony Merkava, or something similar to the Lyran Marsden (if they captured or bought any), but that's all I can think of.

In Turn they tested each Clan namesake in trial against the Ice Hellion's mettle. Each chased the Ice Hellion, hunting it down. All failed to match the predator's speed and grace. Khan Cage smiled and said, "And that is how we shall be."

Hmm, that information (canon) might not exist my friend. Irose and I researched many of the vehicles in 3026. I don't believe there were many that went back to before the Succession War and national tanks were tough to come by. Granted the RWR is a tank heavy realm but the kinds of tanks were never mentioned. To the best of my knowledge. Sorry!

When in doubt use soem kind of howngrown Vedette or Scorpion.  Even if it is only fluff differences.  They are good generic tanks.

Wish I had better advice. Sad
