you know what.  Consider them competitors to the fan produced designs.

Interesting idea, sets a bar certainly. I do like it.

Would their age necessity a small redesign for elemental carrying or just leave them altogether the same?

I'm very fond of both machines so I vote to re-activate them.

I am of mixed mind as I already have designed my zombies for both the 60 and 75 ton classes. I would have to check them against the Lupus and the Woodsman before I choose what to vote. Give me 8 or 9 hours to finish work and get home.

Well we are all over the place with this decision but I am really liking JP's suggestion the best thus far.

For the Woodsman we would have to have a seperate contest of "Create some Configurations"

and don't get me wrong, I adore the Woody, and to a lesser extent the Lupus.  but by 3052 both machiens had been well aged out.

I'd go with JP's idea of including the Woodsman and Lupus as entrants.

Looking ahead to the 80-tonners . . . we have the Gargoyle and the Naga.  Both moving at 5/8/0, the top of the speed available for this weight (exclusive of MASC, of course).

My question is . . . are you going to consider the Gargoyle a Speedster or an Assailant?  OR, will we be competing to replace the Gargoyle (as the Naga is super-specialized around being an artillery unit, and should be side-lined because of that) . . . meaning that we could have a TRIFECTA (!!) weight slot?

While a generally like to wait till a challenge comes up (we will start assaults after the next challenge) I will tell you that the Naga is being considered a limited production design because of its specialized nature and as such only the Gargoyle occupies a slot in the Quicksilver production lines. Since it is the fastest possible design of the 80 ton chassis I'll let you guys guess for now what is up for grabs. Just an EXACTA my friend, sorry! ;)

Instead of creating a new thread asking this question I found this one that was closest to what I wanted to ask.

Do you have a list of all the mechs that won the Quicksilver challenges? I was trying to piecemeal a list together but it got old fast.
