Looking for artist's, people with pagemaker....
« on: June 07, 2012, 06:00:19 PM »

so My friend and my wife and I have been working on this side project, born out of fan fiction.  we wrote enough stuff to flesh out a TRO, a House style handbook, and are revving up strong on a second follow up book.

the problem?  none of us can draw, none of us have any tools to publish this beyond Word Documents.  this is where we need your help.  we are looking for talented artists able to volunteer thier time and energy in creating artwork for these projects.  the most I can offer anyone is credit in the final books right now.  if anyone is willing to help lay out and final publising into a PDF, that would be awesome too.

Editing it and turning your book in a PDF is not that complex (it all depends on its size and the layout you want/have).
I have done it before here and there.

So I can help you with that.

But drawing? Not my cup of tea (and I drink a lot of it).

yeah I can convert to PDF using on board software that came with my Mac.  but because I want to replicate the look and feel of a TRO, a Hand Book, and Era Report respectivly, I need a little more juice.

thanks for the offer, I will keep that in mind when it comes to the final layout.

I do have an artist for TRO stuff.  what I am hoping to find now is people willing to do the more mundane

I what we are planning on

8 creatures with detailed verbal descriptors
a dozen or so personalities based of of photographes with written alterations to account for age and other effects
numerous backdrop artwork (somewhere in the vicinity of 30)
Technical art for things like Currency, Unit Insignias, Flags, Awards, Government Agencies etc.
