I need some logos drawn...

I'm trying to find a willing artist on deviant art, where Eriance who did some of the art for the upcoming fan TRO 3063 hangs out, but I'm not getting anywhere.

I want 5 logos in 3 months or so, and at this point, I'm getting ready to start going to tattoo parlors here in town to actually talk to somebody face to face rather than be ignored after they find out I can't pay them what they think they're worth.

This isn't just putting one stored image over another - I have fairly detailed pencil sketches, complete with notes on color, etc., describing what I want.  At this point, I'm willing to settle for black-and-white, but my pride DEMANDS that even if the rest of the book(s) are considered crap, their logos look cool.

Sadly, I'm not much of an artist. I work with a ton of graphic designers. I'll see if any are willing or able to take on some free lance work.

I can fudge "art" enough to pull some things off nicely, but it's in Photoshop or Fireworks, not Illustrator.

I'll let you know what I turn up.

...Can you explain more about what it means?  I haven't made any headway here.  My last option is a group of artists meeting locally, but so far I've missed them.

Basically, if you can give ideas of what each logo is to look like, even just a few sentences, those with an artistic flair can start providing examples.  From there, you can guide them towards what you are looking for.

Here's good.

What I was saying, is that there are a couple of GD's at my company that will be able to take on free lance work come summer if you were still in the market.

Otherwise some of us here can take a stab at some of your logos.
