Let me try to answer that question Hessian. Information in the BTSD RW Supplement will be very generalized unless we are talking about an era specific unit. Aka one you won't see in 2785. Most details will still appear there.

Hmmm... Somehow I managed to miss this thread up to now. Very impressive write-up!

One question though Irose: Do you intend to include the information(on units, equipment etc) given in the Reunification War sourcebook?

Thanks-

As for your question- it depends on the relevance.  For example- don't be surprised if the TC fleet under goes radical changes- you can expect to see a few Concordats in the Taurian fleet. At the same time the Toro has already made an appearance (or more accurately a reappearance) in the FM for 2785.

As for units, I am of the mindset that most (all?) Taurian mech regiments were disbanded by the SLDF- despite what H:RW says (I would go to say most were disbanded by the time of the Edict of 2650- what was left was little more then a parade force- at least that is the approach I am taking until we get a book on the Periphery Uprisings.).  So I see little continuity between the 2575 units and the 2785 units- really what is in here works well enough I think.

I see. And I agree.

irose I would love to download  the tro you mention , problem is a few months back I was on a foreign (European bt site) did a download and the computer got a repeating worm . thought I had the problem fixed , no such luck . about every third time I try to download everything comes out totally garbled and unintelligible .till I get the tech back out , I don't even try to download anymore . so it's back to the old pen , paper & calculator  till things are kosher again .

ohh did you get something that is called the "BND-Virus" from the german site?
try this scanner: http://www.superantispyware.com
its free and remove most of the known viruses and trojaner (or scareware like the BND Virus).

Maybe you can tell what site you where on, and I can try to give some help, because I´m from germany and now most BT sites from here ;)

manne , good morning , I wish I could remember the exact site I went to , it was early in the AM and I was rather groggy  when I followed a link to the  supposed bt site in germany . I read more german better than I speak it . the site had some interesting  designs that were downloadable , so I did , and got a horrible surprise  the next day when I turned on the old computer back on . I thought I was going to do like I did over at the wolfshipyards site , lot and lots of free freebies to download . no such luck , got a free computer bug that even the local tech I called in said he wasn't sure he got it all . this was a new one to him . thanks for the help .

irose this is a very concise piece of work , but i was just reading another of your works btsd  tro 2800 . just a few omissions there that are in fmtc :
js bounty class ,ds privateer ,ds danais-trojan ,ds bastion ,ds danais & ds doppleganger . was this a simple oversight  or were they retconned out .i would still be most interested in their stats . thank you

These ships were only used by the TC and as such they did not appear in TR2800 which only covered the IS fleets.  I'll post the designs here.  The Danais & Danais Trojan are canon designs. I think they are in one of the Jihad books.  The Bastion was a large troop transport (several battalions of armor and infantry) but I never came up with specific stats or a write up.
