   10 tons Pod Space
Manufacturer:           General Motors
   Location:          Kathil
Communications System:     Dalban Micronics
Targeting & Tracking System:    Dalban HiRez

Overview
The Stealth was originally designed as a heavy scout/recon lance command Mech, in the Federated Suns it proved to be a highly popular design used by every front-line RCT and was sold to many mercenary units loyal to the Federated Suns and more importantly the Capellan March.  Following the Dawn of the Word of Blake started Jihad conflict, the Siege of New Avalon and Operation Sovereign Justice launched by the Capellan March against the Capellan Confederation.  Capellan March officers, nobles and executives at the General Motors factory on Kathil decided to build an OmniMech version of the Stealth.  Again like the Templar before it, also produced in the Capellan March, the Stealth OmniMech is almost entirely privately financed.
The debut of the Stealth OmniMech marked the second home-grown OmniMech for the Federated Suns both that came from the Capellan March and General Motors, this fact passed through the Federated Suns to the AFFS Quartermaster which began looking into building other OmniMechs from other parts of the Federated Suns.

EDIT: In What if the Stealth OmniMech was developed following the Federated Suns encounter with Clan Nova Cat which featured dozens of front-line OmniMech designs.  The AFFS chose to put its full financial backing behind the project lightening the load on the March’s pocket-books and pleasing the Capellan March because they now produced the only two home-grown OmniMechs in the Federated Suns.

Capabilities
Able to keep up with most scout designs because of its 315-rated extra-light fusion engine and seven jump jets the Stealth is an extremely manoeuvrable making it an extremely capable scout design.  On top of this the Stealth OmniMech also has a Myomer Acceleration Signal Circuitry (MASC) like the standard Mech allowing the OmniMech to briefly reach a top speeds of one hundred-and-fifty-one kilometres per hour which is more speed than most light designs let alone medium designs.
The Mech’s chassis is built of super-dense Endo Steel which allows the Mech to mount more equipment than it would normally be able to.  Mounting standard armour the Mech carries the same amount of protection as the standard model mounting nine tons of armour giving the Mech decent protection for a medium design.  Because of the size of the engine, the MASC system and the seven jump jets the Mech has little in the way of weapons carrying only ten tons of weapons and equipment.
The Primary and Alpha Configurations both mimic the current standard BattleMechs in production the only difference being that the Standards Medium Lasers are upgraded to Extended-Range Models and CASE is mounted as pods in each torso with the SRM-6 downgraded to and SRM-4 for the OmniMechs Prime Configuration.
The Beta Configuration mounts an Extended-Range Particle Projection Cannon (PPC) in the left torso and a Guardian Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) Suite and a Beagle Active Probe in the right torso making them lethal fast moving long range snipers and scouts.
The Constellation Configuration mounts a Master Command-Communication-and-Control (C3) Computer in the Left Torso making it one of the few Federated Suns BattleMechs to mount the technology, beside the C3 Computer is an Advanced Targeting Computer which guides the four Extended-Range Medium Lasers in the other torso, although mounting only four
lasers make it under armed the C3 Command Computer makes this configuration extremely valuable.
The Delta Configuration is perhaps the most radical mounting one of the smallest Rotary Autocannons over one shoulder and two tons of ammo for the weapon, the Delta Stealth is an effective long range sniper with the RAC/2 however with only one weapon and an ammo dependant one makes its battlefield lifespan short.  Unfortunately also because of the weight of the Autocannon rules out the use of CASE for the weapon’s ammo.
The Epsilon Configuration is like the Foxtrot configuration a brand-new configuration using brand-new tech.  The right torso has a Seven-tube Multi-Missile Launcher with two tons of ammunition held in a CASE protected left torso mount.  Alongside this ammunition bay there is a single Combine designed Light PPC.
The Foxtrot Configuration is similar to the Beta configuration it mounts a similar weapons configuration, mounting a single captured/reverse-engineered Combine Heavy PPC this configuration is very similar to Clan Wolf (in-Exile)’s Pack Hunter and Clan Nova Cat‘s Ocelot 2.  The Stealth can keep pace with the two smaller Mechs and because of the MASC system it can actually outpace them, the Heavy PPC allows the Mech to match the Clan Design’s firepower if not the range.  The configuration is only used in Hunter-Killer Operations because it lacks the flexibility of other configurations with the Heavy PPC taking away all electronics and back up weapons.
Following the development of the Infiltrator Mk.II’s Magshot Gauss Rifle for things other than Battle Armour and the development of the Light Autocannon the Gamma Configuration of the Stealth OmniMech was created in early 3074.  Mounting weapons in the arms as well as the torso the configuration took a new step for the Stealth.  In each arm was a pair of Magshots with two tons of ammo in the left torso, in the right torso was a Light Autocannon class-2 with one ton of ammo.  Defensively an Anti-Missile System is placed in the centre torso with a ton of ammo in the left torso, finally CASE is added to protect the ammo for the autocannon and the AMS.
In 3073 following the debut of the Lyran Commonwealth’s STH-5X Stealth at Blue Shot weapons on Loxley the General Motors factory came up with its own refit of the design with a new configuration.  The Hotel configuration features a pair of arm mounted Extended-Range Flamers like the 5X.  In the torso an Enhanced LRM-5 and two NAIS built clan-grade Extended-Range Medium Lasers round out the offensive capabilities.  Finally a Bloodhound Active Probe is added to enhance scout abilities.  If additional electronic counter measures are required this probe is swappable with an advanced Angel ECM suite.  Because of these advanced and prototype capabilities the Hotel configuration is very rare even within elite units.

Deployment
Due to the designs debut during the Jihad the Stealth OmniMech was only deployed in small numbers and almost exclusively inside the Federated Suns Capellan March where it served admirably in Operation Sovereign Justice, the Capellan Reprisals and the following Capellan Invasion of the Federated Suns.
As the war continued and units began to move around the Stealth OmniMech began to have more deployment throughout the Federated Suns.  When Devlin Stone began to move his army against the Word of Blake several of the Stealth OmniMechs joined his army and were used very effectively on the drive towards Terra and beyond.
At the end of the Jihad the remaining Stealth OmniMechs employed by Stone joined the Republic’s Armed Forces, inside the Federated Suns a small factory (capable of building only a couple at a time) was kept online giving the Federated Suns an effective command Mech for their medium and lighter forces.

Notable Warriors
Leftenant-General William Bates:  William Bates was a Captain inside the Thirty-ninth Avalon Hussars when the Blackwind Lancers assaulted the Thirty-ninth’s base world, Talon at the start of the Jihad.  The Blackwind Lancers formerly a rogue unit of the Capellan Confederation landed on Talon with full Capellan Confederation support, the Thirty-ninth charged the Lancers however the Lancers decided not fight fairly using nuclear weapons almost the whole Thirty-ninth were wiped out in one sweep.
Bates and the survivors fell back to civilian cities where they set-up defensive positions ready for a prolonged campaign the Lancers had other ideas and detonated a massive nuclear weapon inside Talon Industries Mountain vaporising the plant and poisoning the planets atmosphere.  Bates and the remains of his company were evacuated off planet by Federated Suns
relief ships and taken to Hobbs a relatively unimportant world inside they Capellan March being used by the AFFS as a secret staging and hospital world.  When Hobbs was used as a testing ground by General Motors for the new Stealth OmniMech Bates and his comrades joined the test team passing the Stealth for general deployment in half the time normally required.
Bates was promoted to Major following the trials and was soon fighting on the front-lines where he was promoted again to Colonel after three years of fighting against the Word of Blake and Capellan raiders.  When Bate’s rag-tag group of fighters encountered Devlin Stone’s forces they joined up with the Allies and fought with them right up until the formation of the Republic.  Leftenant-General William Bates was one of the few warriors who had fought for Devlin Stone that chose to return to their home nations and abandon the dream of the Republic of the Sphere for the Federated Suns.  When he retied from active service with the AFFS Bates eventually became an executive at General Motors on Kathil as it slowly rebuilt and tooled for civilian service.  When he retired Bates had the Stealth he piloted placed on display in the Forecourt in front of the General Motors plant on Kathil.

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

I always liked the Stealth and I like your idea.
Perhaps you should also design a Laser/LRM Configuration?
This would give more flexibility to the design.

The closest one is the Hotel an Enhanced LRM-5 involved - same with the MML configuration.

I was thinking of something with a bigger rack.

Ok I could have gone with an LRM-15 and 2 tons of ammo but instead India Configuration 2 MML-5s with Artemis accurate and still able to take advantage of the Stealth's speed and close if need be
