This design has actually been around for a couple of in universe years in my AU but I have not had the chance to stat it. Thanks to Vition2 it now has stats. This ship is the Taurians first go at producing a modern WarShip.
It's based on a JumpShip design made by Master Arminas found on this thread.

Overview
The Hyades-class Corvette's genisis resides in the Taurian Concordat's
only domestically produced JumpShip of the same name. When the Protector
demanded a Taurian WarShip to match those produced by other states around
them.
Capabilities
The Hyades falls far short of the mark set by the Protector. At
190,000 tonnes the ship is far smaller than most other WarShips in production
in the Inner Sphere and Periphery. The ship also has a larger crew complement
than most ships of its size due to the inferior technology used in its
construction.
The ship is capable of a maximum speed of 3G and is armed with an
array of Naval and Sub-capital weapons backed by an array of conventional
lasers, autocannons and surprisingly a large array of rocket launchers giving
the ship a single strong volley if it can survive its approach to the enemy.
The Hyades is defended by 379.5 tons of Ferro Aluminum and an array of
anti-missile systems. The ship's sixteen aerospace fighters, four small
craft and four DropShips are intended on providing further protection for the
corvette but most likely the DropShips themselves will be used to transport
ground forces. One of the design's largest drawbacks is that it carries less
than five thousand tons of cargo and that it lacks a Lithium Fusion Battery
making for a short deployment range.
Variants
The Taurians originally designed three different versions of the
Hyades when planning to construct the vessel. The other two variants remain
on the drawing boards in the Sterope system.
Deployment
The first Hyades-class Corvette launched in 3103 and named the TCS
Jeffery Calderon. The ship was immediately deployed to the Taurus system
as a point of pride. The second ship the TCS Thomas Calderon is expected
to join the Taurian military in 3106.
