"Jade preforms a Draconian Salute, takes three steps back turns and walks back to the Ambassador.  She bends and whispers to him and heads to the Chamber doors.   "I will be returning shortly!" Bows to the Presentor. Turns and walks out head high and silent.

Ambassador Holstein leans over to Ambassador Davion and whispers

"What in the hell was that about with the Outworlds ambassador and the Drac Ambassador? Something fishy is going on".

A tall, middle-aged man with a greying beard enters the chamber.  Wearing the diplomatic attire consistent with the Ambassador of the Oberon Confederation, he walks smoothly towards his companion.  After handing the aging diplomat a datapad, he seats himself, starting intently at the delegation with his silvery-blue eyes.

With a sad smile and turning to the Marian Ambassador

I am afraid that you are right here Ambassador.
What we need is a clear understanding of where our borders are and stop to launch intrusions/raids/attacks, however you call these things.

Ambassador Kosh finishes reading the new datapad, and thanks his coambassador.

"Gentlemen and ladies of the Council of Geneva, we are drifting far afield from topics that deserve our undivided attention"

"Let us refocus our efforts, and work towards an agenda of critical issues, and topics that this body can move towards a concensus"

"In order to limit the back and forth, once a topic has been identified, we suggest that each nation gets one chance to submit opening remarks, and one chance to submit a rebuttal or closing remarks.  A clarified summary will then be presented to the council.  At that point the council can determine what the next logical steps might be."

"Can this Council actually step up and serve the people of the Inner Sphere, or is it destined to be a mudpit of buffoonery?"

Ambassador Holstein looks and wonders. The Lyran and Combine ambassadors actually agreeing on something, why could this be the peaceful future sought by many? Steiners and Kuritans living in peace, trading, bringing each other home to mother...and then his minds eye pictured his own son with a Kuritan! The Ambassador suddenly wished he'd remembered his flask this morning...there came the taste of vomit in his mouth at the very thought....Living next to one or drinking with one, ok, that's one thing, but marrying his son!

"Normally I'd say the Outworlds Ambassador remembering they live next to the Dragon and their citizens might pay dearly for criticising House Kurita's ambassador. But perhaps you're right and more is at work here."

"Ambassadors, I put forth a call for topics to be officially discussed by this Council.  Please remove any bias when proposing a topic, as you will have your say during the discussion proper.  Given a reasonable amount of time to bring forth topics, they will be summarized and presented for official discussion one at a time."

Scanning his datapad. "These are the major topics I have on record as being issues for discussion, in no particular order."

The Kapteyn Alliance, Federated Commonwealth Alliance War.
Pirate Activities.
Declaration of Independence of worlds from an interstellar realm.

"are there any other topics, that this Council needs to discuss?"

"I move that piracy be first on the agenda. Many of the members here have a deeply vested interest in piracy suppression. We of the Lyran Commonwealth, being a nation based on trade see the inherent threat to trade and private property that these brigands represent and have taken steps to do all we can to control the scourge. But, there is more that can and must be done to control, if not completely annihilate these jackals. All nations, large and small in the Inner Sphere must, whatever their differences or claims, cooperate in this arena, or face eventual economic ruin and possible societal breakdown on their periphery borders."

"Thank you Ambassador Halstein, however let us first determine what are all the topics to be placed on the agenda, prior to selecting which shall be discussed first.  There might very well be some other topic suggested later that would in your mind supercede the need to address Pirate activities.

I would not presume to have captured all of the major topics for discussion in my previous address.  Are there any other topics or issues that require the attentions of this Council?"

*Jade leans to her Ambassador and speaks quietly! She then stands and turns with you leave Presentor!

'There seems to be a high interest in my action in connection with The Combine's Ambassador! To lay that interest were it belongs.

Since I allowed my emotions to move my mouth and speak words that need not have been spoken! It was requested that I apologize to the Combine's Ambassador. To wait until he accepted or declined it. Since he took time to give his answer, I stood waiting for some hours.  After he did, I saluted him, and did the correct thing by taking three steps back before turning and head to my Ambassador. Once there I inform the Ambassador that I would be back after I visited the 'slit trench' to answer Nature! If it is required that I inform this gathering of my every movement and action I think it only fair that the rest of this gathering do like wise!"

*Jade smiles slightly then, bows to the Presentor. Then sits down!

"I was only remarking for I thought the Outworlds ambassador was in some sort of distress...and thus required medical attention..."
