A man enter the chamber, through it wide and tall double oak doors and walks towards the podium occupied by Precentor Chase. The man personifies slickness, with his perfectly tailored suit, mirror bright black shoes and perfect cut of his hair, but most of all his attitude screams confidence. Bowing slightly to the Precentor has speaks:
“If I may Precentor, I have news from the Rim and Mican Governmentsâ€
The Precentor nods.
“Thankyou Precentor. Esteemed delegates, my firm, Woods, Yates and Associates are likely well know to you, specialising as we do in Interstellar diplomatic consulting. The governments of the Rim Commonality and Mica Majority, unable to send their own delegates due to cost and distance, have appointed our firm to speak on their behalf.
As we have been kept appraised of discussions here, I can provide you with our clients views on the maters under perusal here and then let Council continue its discussion: Of course if that is alright with the chair?
Precentor Chase nods again.
“Again my thanks learned Precentor. Delegates of the great states of the Inner Sphere and Periphery, the Rim and Mican governments hold the following views on the matters under discussion:
1. With regards to independent worlds, the Rim and Mican governments hold that any planet gas the right to determine what, if any, realm that would should be part off. Additionally, any such determination must be made free of outside economic, political or military interference.
2. In the case of the current war, the two governments denounce hostile actions by all parties. Both governments call for a withdrawal behind pre-war lines and call on all parties to agree to a mutual truce and forwarding of all outstanding matters to a neutral tribunal for arbitration.
3. In the matter of WarShips and their re-use on the battlefield, the Micans and Rim Worlders require all states to re-sign to the Areas Conventions and to uphold the articles as the guarantees of civilian safety from war once more.
4. Both the Rim and Micans are currently undergoing something of an economic and industrial surge and do not agree to the assessment of the Taurian Concordat. However, in regards to the pirate issue, they call on each of the five Successor States to provide 5% of their line forces to the hunting down of pirate forces. As most Periphery nations devote far in excess of this to anti-pirate actions, our clients do not see why this small burden should not be taken up.
Thankyou for you time Ambassadors, Precentor Chase."
