Sometimes is translated as Lest We Forget!, but more properly is We will never forget!

Essentially a cry to remember those who have gone before but also not to forget the wrongs of the past done against those they fight to protect

Think of it as a future derivative of the motto of the province of Quebec, Je Me Souviens

I know what it means (I am the official Froggy here  ;D). I just wanted to know a little more about the background.
