Overview:
Developed during the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, the Mk IX variant of the
Alacorn proliferated in the years before the Jihad. The Mk IX was marked as a
mixed anti-vehicle and anti-air platform but the sheer firepower merited its
use giving close fire support to assault formations.


Capabilities:
Like any of this design family, the Alacorn Mk IX focuses on delivering
exceptional firepower. A quad-turret mounted with four Rapid Autocannon allows
almost unmatched salvos as long as they can be kept from seizing up.


Deployment:
Seen in both the LAAF and AFFS, the Mk IX was quickly adopted by the WoBM after
New Earth fell under Blakist control.

Now that is one expensive tank, but it does have four racka-dakkas with sufficient ammunition.
