for Takiro AU
In 3030, Aldis Industries deployed the successful follow up to its venerable Demolisher design, the slightly lighter Zhukov. At the same time at the NAIS there was a tracked vehicle which was very similar to the Zhukov, this prototype 5391 vehicle would only carry two Gauss rifles. With a full cell and better armor this would allow for the prototype 5391 to be able to defend any target easily. The largest plus was that the ammo to the prototype 5391 could be made on a number of outback worlds were these were meant to serve, thus prevent ammo shortages. Within two months of the first Zhukovs leaving the line the blueprints of the prototype 5391 were given to the First Prince and seeing the information named the tank the Hound after his brother, stating “it will doggedly protect its watch no mater who tries to stop it.†With the blueprints came the price of the Hound heavy tank, cost: 3,131,625 C-Bills, which was 1/5 the price of Alacorn Mk VI (16,609,126 C-bills and which could not be produced anyway).
Seeing this little information the First Prince allowed for a number of companies to began building the Hound heavy tank, stating that 60% should go to front line units and the other 40% will go to all the March Militia units. The Hound heavy tank would give any March Militia unit a stronger base for any defensive combat with the fact that the weapon reaches out very far. Once the Hound heavy tanks reach the March Militia units many pirates begin to fear this tank, as the tank is able to target them before they reach any range to fight back, thus preventing a number of attacks. Once New Earth Trading Company saw the Hound heavy tank they started to build Alacorn Mk VI to try and compete but being a fifth of the cost the AFFS would and did buy more of the Hound heavy tanks. The second factor was that the companies which build the Hound heavy tanks are all in the Federated Suns and thus can be counted on not to assist enemy states.

I didn't realize you were doing it with Fuel Cell Engine but since I am thinking of doing something like that anyway care to describe how they work? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
-
I used the fuel cell to save weight, but for advantages of using hydrogen rather than petrol is one of the largest advantages. The only disadvantage I could think of is technicians would need more training then an ICE engine.
-
How about the Heat Sinks and any issues generated from heat?

How about the Heat Sinks and any issues generated from heat?
just the one free, any others need to be added
-
Cool, they should make for capable power plants even if they have less range than an ICE.
