I hear the gears turning !!!! Hey Ice Hellion stop ice Skateing and get onboard.

Come on. One cannot be away for a couple of days without someone yelling at him.  ;)

Your tanks aren't tank destroyers as those are designed to fire with a direct gun/missile launcher and destroy its opponent with one shot.

You are focusing on artillery vehicles like the Sturmtiger (check this monster) but this is only small part of it.
Tanks should be able to fulfil all roles: recon, fire support, combat, artillery...

I was not yelling just wondering where a fellow Clan was. Next time leave a will be back sign. Did you at least do some curling while you were out and about.

No I did speed skating :P (just kidding :P).

I wrote on paper a 60 tons Zhukov tank that could work fine for the AFFS.
Its speed is either 4/6 with a Fusion Engine or 3/5 with an ICE Engine.
In the turret, it has 2 UAC/5 and in the front a SRM-4.

I tried to turn it into a cousin of the Rommel/Patton (ie 65 tons) but keeping the weapons was only possible with a reduction of the speed to 3/5.

Time well spent . But remember with your speed your curling skills would be outrageous.

Didn't want to butt straight in but I always liked the Bulldog Medium Tank or later the Joust.

Simply because the main gun never runs out of juice.

The paired Large Lasers backed up with SRMs worked a serious treat on the Bulldog and I loved the fluff behind it.

The Joust easily one of my favorite units from the DA and a very decent standard tank design

range is nice but staying power is even better.  Whenever I'm making a tank I either a use a fusion or b have lots of ammo for the main gun.

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.
