Does this picture (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/File:Vaksai_XWM.png) inspire anyone?
I feel like there is something to do but Aerospace/Conventional Fighters or whatever is flying are not my thing.

"In turn they tested each Clan namesake
in trial against the Ice Hellion's mettle.
Each chased the Ice Hellion, hunting it down.
All failed to match the predator's speed and grace.
Khan Cage smiled and said, "And that is how we shall be."

Better Picture of it I remember seeing these in one of the old Star Wars novels I read.

Definitely looks better than some of the ones drawn for BT

Black Sun Heavy Interceptor

Designed by a private concern in Lyran space prior to the end of the Star League the Black Sun featured an XL engine giving the craft superior performance for a fighter its size and at 55-tons the performance offered by the 330 rated engine as well as its very generous 6-ton fuel tank were all taken very positively.

The weapons loadout was heavily influenced by the Hellcat II that was in service with the SLDF and the Black Sun promised to be the superior craft even with its 'normal' weapons unlike the Royal Hellcat II.  The Blacksun was faster, had a bigger fuel tank and a heavier punch thanks it its battery of Medium and small lasers as well as its nose mounted SRM-4.

Unfortunately the fighter came along at the wrong time, within months the SLDF would be fighting to liberate the Hegemony from the grip of the Usurper and as it wasn't produced by any of the Lyrans big manufacturers and there wasn't the factory space to produce the fighter in large numbers barely a few hundred were built by the time the First Succession War started and the Factory would not survive a League assault.

Interesting.
I also played a video game named Patrician (I don't remember the number right now), which saw me using Cogs.
