Very much so. It's one of the chief ways they're able to re-ingratiate themselves across the Inner Sphere. Also by playing as neutral trade brokers. Some areas of space will be either unwilling or incapable of trading for themselves with their neighbors. In all honesty, communication services go second-class with just about everyone with the fall of the network since the specialized equipment is no longer viable. This means anyone with a JumpShip is in the communication business and everything that entails.
