Looks like I need to make a comprehensive listing...

Faction Developers will need it complete before working on the AU.

 Note, this info comes from MadCap's OR:3067. Worlds like Midway, etc., that have new factories built on them aren't noted, but have been. They'll either be removed or, if I can find some canon reference to a pre-existing facility that was simply repaired - I'll keep it in the AU.

You can just pull YiR 3023 Industry listing apart, as it was retroed from 3067 and tweaked a little for the KU.  May save you some of the pain.  The periphery was the most modified, but most IS stuff is pretty close to canon. 

Now it's just a question of finishing up the breakdown of "what is where and with whom."

I already found some borders that need to be redrawn a little.

After consulting YiR 3023 here is the finished outline. From here I'll tweak the overall breakdown (which will include some border changes) and take into account some Star League factories that may make a showing. When I've finished the final list I'll start cutting stuff - maybe a product or a full factory?...

Clearly the Periphery isn't represented here, but it's similar. There are a couple factions that will inherit some manufacturing muscle from their parent realm - like the Finmark Ascendancy, but I'm not sure how much.

I've been consulting it, but since I'm looking to decrease the total number of factories/products the thread has only been useful to help fill in some possible "gaps" that I may or may not need filling.

How will you balance things between States with a lot of factories and the rebels, which have less?

After all, quantity has a quality all its own 

Well, this is just the basic list I'm using for comparison. There's still some extraneous information to take into account - Star League factories that may or may not be added or swapped for sites on the list or some other errata.

This is a full 3023 listing in canon. AoC destroys a lot more, so factions will suffer accordingly. We'll remove products, lines, or even full facilities. True, some states will enjoy more than others but it'll be offset by other factors to help maintain some balance.
