I just hope we haven't seen the last of them in the future ( I mean proper WarShips not just pockets, full scale cruisers, destroyers, BCs) always loved Aerotech since I got TRO 3057 (the original - although the upgrade is nice too) :)

Consider we already know of WarShip conflicts in the Dark Age era, I wouldn't say that's a concern. What appears likely to happen? WarShips will return to their end of the 1st/beginning of the 2nd Succession War place. They will be very rare assets that will be massive game changers in key conflicts. Honestly...that seems like an awful lot of love from where I'm looking. When a Griffin shows up on the battlefield, you say "Oh, it's another Griffin." When a Essex shows up in the Dark Age and beyond, you say "HOLY SHIT, THAT'S AWESOME SAUCE!"

I remember that I have always been a bit disappointed on various aerospace rule sets. AeroTech, BattleSpace and AeroTech II were all kind of clunky and slow while none of them really came through as supporting the aesthetics of game setting (as they were put in various House books and TROs). Game balancing would also need to be completely rethought to make aerospace assets interesting and part of combined arms game.
