The Reunification war

According to Alliance game distributors, the Reunification war sourcebook is on the horizon. Do you think that will change anything?

Probably quite a bit.

What I'm really looking forward to is a good look at how Age of War style battles and wars were fought. Plus all the new tech goodies (or rather old tech goodies) I've come to expect from a publication of this type. The best bits will probably the detailed look into the formation of the Star League and the aftermath of the War itself - I'm hoping that last part is covered.

Still, it is a book I've been personally waiting forever for.

For BTSD- maybe- it depends on what they do and how they treat the periphery in the book- as I am not a fan of many of the retcons which turned the periphery from an interesting place to a bunch of morons I am not going to blindly incorporate any changes in the RW book.

Hmmm...
I think we might get some insights on the formation of the Star League and (at least I hope so) on the early SLDF makeup.
There might also be new information regarding the Periphery states and and their military forces.
But as Irose already pointed out if any new information will be incorporated into the BTSD AU remains to be seen.

Ciao

What a surprise  ;)

Hmm... Is there some insider knowledge there?

Anyway, I'm hoping for a rundown on the state of the sphere's military, how many regiments each state has, there names, things like that. I'm also hoping for some more warships.

Can't wait for it either, but it could amount for another headache for you guys.  I think House Liao will release before it.

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Not at all, just some experience.  ;)

I doubt it will impact BTSD much. The previous Historicals have been underwhelming in their big revealations. Hope this changes but we'll see.

I just hope that the historical doesn't change any existing canon- I don't mind correcting obvious errors- I hate it when TPTB change something because they simply disagree with it (which happens all too often).

If it makes a better story, changes don't bother me much...
