A little under 12 hours remaining, I hope masterarminas gets one in perhaps based on his old post.

Well five of my designs are eliminated. I could not find the motivation to write even basic boring fluff. Less designs for me from here on out.

And I was in holidays, I knew I would miss one or two contests.

So jealous, not like I couldn't have taken the time but with Covid here can't really go anywhere and do anything. Parks and Beaches were packed and no way was I going to go into those mobs.

Do anything good for yours?

A lot but I don't want to get mad (you are still judging some of my designs  ;)).

Alright on to the Trebuchet which I am sorry to say only had nine entries that qualified and four others that did not. It is frustrating to see some interesting concepts left on the drawing room floor. I was generally looking for a missile boat and if it came from Marik space used small LRM-5 batteries rather than larger LRM racks. There was plenty of advanced tech core components available thanks to the flawed TBT-5N. Here are all the entries for this contest and where I felt they placed.

        DISQUALIFIED
TBT-6K (Abele) Kurita? fluff? C3, no missiles
TBT-3D (Bradshaw) Davion? Fluff? Mini Crusader feel, LRMs and SRMs
TBT-6S (Abele) Steiner? Fluff? Split LRM-20 with SRM-6, both Artemis
TBT-6S-DC (Abele) Steiner? Fluff? Split LRM-15 with SRM-6, both Artemis
        CONTENDERS
9. TBT-6J (Abele) 300 XL, 6 Jump, 1 LRM-15 and an ER Large
8. TBT-7B (Abele) modified 7M, Blazer replaces an LRM-15 and the NARC
       NEAR MISSES
7. TBT-6N (Abele) 2 LRM-15s, 6/9 movement, if only you fluffed from somewhere else
6. TBT-8M (Irose) Marik redo of their lostech variant minus the NARC with two LRM-20s, in universe preference, would have preferred it as a mercenary, AFFC, or ComGuard variant
5. TBT-6M (Abele) 6 LRM-5s, 5/8/5 movement, just got beat by the top finisher
       WINNERS
4. TBT-2K (Bradshaw) Kurita variant designed by Lexatech to pair with the Archer 2K, C3 Slave, 2 LRM-10s, 2 Large Lasers
3. TBT-10MS (Irose) Marik SRM Narc model, jump capable, armor seems light, nice concept which seems opposite
2. TBT-8A (Bradshaw) Liao artillery Mech which compares nicely to Catapult, reduced the Engine to a 200 Fusion (which is explains where Hunchback Engines go) and added four jump jets (4/6/4) to go along with an Arrow IV, ER Large, and a Medium Laser.
1. TBT-7J (drakensis) Love this Stewart Dragoon entry with six LRM-5s (the new Marik standard) and 3 Medium Lasers that uses a standard 250 engine and jump jets to go 5/8/5, very nice fluff for this Provincial Fire Support asset

Once more the final four make it to the BattleTech Salient Horizon universe where they will appear on the battlefields yet to come. Each Trebuchet has its own role from long range fire support to artillerist to short range spotter but they all utilize missiles as their primary ordinance and operate at optimal specifications. Thanks again to everyone who participated in this contest!
