Exactly what they are going to be doing.  They are concentrating their entire force against the Lyran Commonwealth (Federated Commonwealth) in an attempt to utterly cripple one Great House (two actually) before the others can rally to their aid.  And yes, I have some plans for a string of old Rim Worlds worlds just outside the perimeter of the LC.
