Don't know if anyone else noticed it already, but loved the hilarious bit where the Lyran commanders complained about how the Davion RCT formations would **SLOW DOWN** their Mech formations.

 

Those famously speedy Lyran assault formations....

Is part of Hanse's plan to get all the old school Lyran commanders, leading hyper-nationalist Lyran units, massively overextended and surrounded by Clan cavalry forces without any vehicle or infantry support, then promote actual quality commanders based on merit and ultimately revamp the LAAF using the RCT/LCT model and pro-FedCom kiddos that way?  Nothing like a real war to scrub the senior ranks of ossified old-school thinkers, as proved by...literally every major conflict in the history of humanity ever.
