Very nice Ice, did the first part of your description get cut off? Other than the choppy start I liked what you came up with for the unit. Especially the Mech names from Arthurian opponents.

Very nice Ice, did the first part of your description get cut off?

It seems so.
I will repost it.

I liked what you came up with for the unit. Especially the Mech names from Arthurian opponents.

They were all members of the Round Table but they were traitors or knights who did something wrong but who would expect someone from 3025 or later on to have a deep knowledge of such an old story?

No one really knows where the so-called Round Table Knights comes out. Over the centuries, their ‘Mechs, never more than a Company strong, have struck on numerous occasions Davion worlds bearing the crest of the Suns and the Sword but hitting only what seems to be unfit or corrupt governors or units. The people in the Capellan March believe that they are the ghosts of the 28th Avalon Hussars, coming back to make those acting wrongly.

Even for those loving a good old horror story, this does not make any sense as the 28th Avalon Hussars was a victim of the Kuritan onslaught of the First Succession War and its final grave is on Schedar where it met its fate during Operation Solar Shield.

However, the colours of the ‘Mechs are consistent with those used by the Avalon Hussars and each of these unidentified ‘Mech displays a coat of arm after a Round Table Knight, linking them somehow to the Knights of Avalon. What is strange is that although the coat of arms remain the same, the ‘Mechs they are linked to seem to change over the different battles.

June, 21st, 2785

According to our latest intel, the Taurian Defence Forces have decided to create an Aggressor unit (codename Minotaur), able to train their units in the tactics used by our forces.

We will further investigate this issue.

May, 1st, 2787

After further investigation, it seems they only managed to put together some of their units and paint them according to some of our colours.
Our agent in the TDF Headquarters managed to get a clear view of this unit in action and they are well below our standards and tactics.

May, 16th, 2825

Since the end of the 1st Succession War, the TDF seems to have focused on reinforcing its strength, disbanding any special or independent unit they might and giving priority to their front-line units.
I would therefore suggest closing once and for all the Minotaur file.

Very good sir. Now you got me wondering if the unit was at least in part formed by ex-Davions or an former Son of the Suns? They incorporate their tactics so well perhaps they are part Taurian mimics part Davion traitors.

That I didn't work out.

Just a thought Ice, what do you guys think?

But you are welcome to express your thoughts.

Right now, I was more thinking about the different versions of each 'Mech.
